Reclaim the streets for the interregional demonstration „Borders Kill“!
The global misery has worsened in 2024!
The consequences of imperialism and (neo-)colonialism are now driving over 122 million people worldwide to flee. They are leaving their homeland because of war and genocide, land theft and destruction of nature, patriarchal oppression and violence as well as massive exploitation and poverty.
Since there are no safe escape routes to Europe, the human right to asylum is an empty promise. For years, dirty deals with fascist states, deportations to war zones, police violence and deaths at European borders as well as mass graves in the Mediterranean and the Sahara have become common place. A permanent war is being waged against refugees, costing billions of Euros.
Here in Europe, we are brainwashed with permanent chauvinism against refugees and migrants, who are made the scapegoat for every issue. The result of this propaganda is fascist mass thinking and violence as well as justification for exploitation and exclusion.
Our rulers are joining forces in the EU or NATO to represent the dominance of the West and the interests of powerful corporations around the world. For this goal, they are willing to accept anythin. The blood of oppressed people, genders and classes is on their hands.
Let’s build an international perspective!
We must mobilize as a local population and as an international community against these crimes. In order to combat the causes of flight and displacement, it is necessary to stand by the progressive forces worldwide and support their struggles in the spirit of international solidarity. Here in Europe too, it is important to develop the fight against capitalism and imperialism, racism and fascism as well as patriarchy and the destruction of nature.
Let’s get moving, join forces and respond to the global refugee crisis on February 1, 2025 with a strong, colorful and diverse protest. For this occasion, grief and anger will be given their due place. We invite everyone to join the annual demonstration.
Following the demonstration, the „Music knows no borders“ festival will take place again.
